AN INJECTED HEART ATTACK, BLOOD CLOT, OR STROKE, TO SPARE A COLD?
PANDEMIC WRITINGS, Melbourne, Australia (2020-2022): piece originally published November 12, 2021
If you were told that to avoid a future stroke or a heart attack you could take two applications of an experimental medication that might make it a little difficult to breath for a few days (in rare instances) and could be accompanied by flu-like symptoms, a sore throat and a cough — the extraordinary benefit would still outweigh the risk.
Imagine guaranteeing a life where a potential stroke or heart attack will no longer pose a future threat due to a simple medical procedure?
Now, imagine such a proposal in reverse: strokes and cardiac arrest to simply prevent a flu-variant! And not so rare!
However, in this reality there is no verifiable benefit that the medication reduces the risk of such a cold (and may actually increase an individual's susceptibility) and the manufacturer insists on the need for endless applications of the same experimental medication that amplifies the original risk of "rare" cardiac arrest, stroke and blood clots with every progressive application.
That is the current reality for many.
A tragedy.
