ASH JACKSON: A FORMER 'FREEDOM' CULT MEMBER?
PANDEMIC WRITINGS, Melbourne, Australia (2020-2022): piece originally published February 14, 2022
Who are you Ash Jackson? Are you real, or merely an ASIO "project" offered to The Age as a timely "information" weapon to discredit the Freedom Movement?1
There is nothing 'cult-like' or 'brainwashed' in desiring the preservation of individual choice — a freewill choice, removed from all government overreach, propaganda, and deceptive medical coercion.
It is preposterous to suggest that one is 'finally out of such a movement,' as the true "movement," the desire for 'freedom,' occurs within an individual, and has resulted in the gathering of like-minded individuals all honouring and wanting to preserve the exact same ideal: freedom. Thus, it is always within, and never something that will leave, or can be left, once actualised within the soul, realised with reason, and valued with heart: integrity, courage and resilience are all aspects.
Again, there is nothing 'cult-like' or 'brainwashed' amongst such individuals: they are humans resonating with the basic humanity that should be fundamental to all humans.
The human desire to be free, and to respect individual freedom and choice — should be ubiquitous, and universally valued as a cornerstone of our democracy and societal cohesion.
The only reason it is not, and that many are opposed
and are incapable of comprehending why such a Freedom Movement exists (and irrationally fear it) — suggests that a media-induced brainwashing campaign has successfully created a cult-mentality amongst many who have forfeited their freedom for "safety and convenience," and now resent those that simply refuse to do the same.
