I don’t know enough to argue those points, but I do know that success alone brings detractors out of the woodwork. He’s had astounding successes. Lithium batteries will be replaced by something readily available, the military has funded capacitance storage that’s pretty amazing.

I do hate to see negative speculation about his intent when I know he has denounced the WEF as “unwanted” and “unelected.”

We’ll see

Fair enough, and I do hope that you are correct about Musk, I really do. We'll have to wait and see. Lithium batteries are not the answer, but we do need to move beyond petroleum combustion. Obviously there are alternatives to powering an entire civilisation that have been suppressed. Musk certainly has the means to technologically innovate for the betterment of all mankind.

It is now obvious from a business/product perspective that it is only wise to respectfully court the hearts and minds of the Silent Majority at this time. The Anheuser-Busch collapse of Bud Light to the tune of $27 billion market share is an indication of just how much of a majority this Silent Majority actually is… they will decide the future, and you would truly want to be part of their “positive decision process” when they tear down the existing woke-corporatism. A shrewd Billionaire like Musk would certainly act to capture these early winds-of-change knowing that a whole ocean of unfurled sails is amassing. This is what he is doing, and what he has done. Change is certainly coming, and Musk knows this; and again, I hope he is driven to act for the betterment of our species.

You write beautifully Stephen. The points in this piece are so important, I hope people do switch away, but deep down I know most won't. Such a shame, it's hard to have hope for the future society.

Thank you! I feel many of those who were outcast and disenchanted by social media censorship over the last few years, have found their “hero” in Musk. It is assumed that he is the antithesis to Zuckerberg – and he has certainly acted to achieve this distinction. It seems he can do no wrong, and all that he does, he does with deliberate (and perhaps even orchestrated) “heroism.” Admittedly, what he has achieved has been a very-public spear-tip thrust into the Deep State. However, is it truly genuine, or is it all merely part of the “managed perception” that is required to win over the Silent Majority? If the Silent Majority can reject Anheuser-Busch over their Bud Light endorsement of a transgender influencer (to the loss of $27 billion US market share!) … it might be best to do all you can to win over this Silent Majority that are not only swinging the pendulum away from progressive-left depravity and civilizational collapse … but perhaps ripping the whole damn pendulum down!

I agree with all that. Do you think boycotting Twitter/X is a timing problem? I mean people don't go to another platform because most of the media and people they follow aren't on the other platform. It would need some popular people and journalists to put up with duplicating to the other platform for an interim period. Like what James Corbett does. It's unlikely to occur though.

Unfortunately, a boycott of Twitter/X is a matter of timing. At this stage, things are relatively fine on the platform… however, the fact that Musk recently announced that his new AI company (xAI) will train its models by scanning the data of public posts is quite disconcerting. Why, oh, why! This destructive obsession with AI mimicking and plagiarizing human endeavors in a fake approximation of human thought is unnerving. To disconnect would (as you say) result in an abrupt disconnection from the valuable media and the prominent individuals that are still present on the platform. In this regard, X as a platform, is still useful (if you don’t mind xAI scanning your posts and effectively profiling you.) When it becomes apparent that things such as a Digital ID will be required to continue to partake in the financial aspects of X (as an “everything app”) - then it will be more than time to go, it will be imperative.

The expansion of the Disney Empire (and its current contraction) might offer a parallel for the hubris of over-expansion and the abuse of influence that comes with it. Disney’s acquisition of Pixar, Fox Studios, Marvel, Star Wars and their Disney Plus streaming gave them a massive stranglehold on pop-culture and the channels in which to disseminate whatever they chose to present to their audience. They were seemingly too big to fail, financially invincible, and were broadcast in every household, worn on every child, with material viewed by children, teenagers and adults… and then they started pursuing their progressive-left woke programming… and as a result, the Silent Majority are now disconnecting, and rejecting Disney as a brand… the Disney Empire is currently losing billions, and their last five films have lost a billion for the company… apparently, Disney’s theme parks are experiencing ever-declining attendance, too…

If X gets too big, and Musk starts taking sly liberties… I have faith that the Silent Majority will commence their exodus of the “everything app” platform.

I’m sorry, I can’t put a like on this. I like the big sexy “X” just as much as the bird, and if it seems ominous, sterile and intrusive to you that’s just too bad. Except that you’re publishing about it, wailing about “potential” for data collection that was never the point.

Everything Musk has shown you to this point has been positive. Why would you try to enter the cockpit and shove the wheel to the dashboard.

Ah, there is no need to apologize, and there is zero expectation that what I have written will be universally ‘liked,’ or is objectively correct. I can take criticism, and it is most welcome and appreciated here. I knew this particular piece would be a little controversial, and that quite a few would reject my contention outright. Musk is many things to many people, and it is easy to speculate over his assumed motives, and to even confabulate “hero or villain attributes” to maintain a steadfast opinion that is polarized. Is he actually a hero, or is he truly a villain who acts “heroically” to advance a Technocratic agenda that remains mostly concealed? The things he has shown, and the “miracles” that he has performed with his “god-like status” have been directed at winning over the disaffected “other-side” – the Silent Majority. Could this be a strategy to bring both the Left and Right into the fold of his emerging vision: the “everything app?” What is his true intent for his overarching technological pursuits, and who are his actual geopolitical and billionaire allies and invested backers?

He still publicly believes that mRNA technology (gene therapy) is the future of vaccines. This technology only works to harm the entire human (and animal organism) and effectively cull the herd. It has no proven success in achieving anything beneficial for anyone other than Big Pharma.

He believes that Universal Basic Income (UBI) is inevitable. It is intended to enslave and coerce and diminish human potential.

His Tesla enterprise is advancing the idea that a limited fleet of Self-Driving Vehicles will eventually replace all self-owned and self-driven vehicles (“you will own nothing…”). This will result in absolute control of human movement in accord with Carbon Credit Restrictions and Climate Crisis measures that shall be imposed upon travel within the radius of 15-Minute City hubs. Not to mention that the gigantic lithium battery (of which the planet is being torn apart to amass for the electrification of everything) creates a biologically destabilizing electromagnetism within the vehicle that damages DNA (by opening the Voltage Gate Calcium Channels VGCC in each cell, causing destructive oxidation by flooding the mitochondria and cell nucleus with excess calcium), and could potentially cause cancers and sterility. Humans are not meant to seat themselves on batteries.

For all of Musk’s recent miracles, there are many disconcerting projects he has invested in and he certainly profits from his Military Industrial Complex alliances and contracts.

However, I will ultimately reserve my final judgment on his motives, and perhaps I might be surprised at the unexpected turns that await… hopefully.
