TRUTH AS LIES, AND LIES AS TRUTH: The ‘Communications Legislation Amendment (Combatting Misinformation and Disinformation) Bill 2023’
New ACMA draft legislation proposed to counter "misinformation and disinformation," will enable only Government-approved misinformation and disinformation.
New Federal draft legislation is afoot, that, if passed, will stomp upon the free expression of information online. What Australians can currently access and communicate, and the enabling platforms, will be suppressed, and erased. The heel of the governmental jackboot will be aimed at the throat, our throats — to preemptively crush the larynx of Truth. The blackened-sole of the rubber-tread hovers above, but we can still pivot, and evade the downward thrust.
We must inform other Australians, and collectively oppose this new legislation. They must not be permitted to throttle and silence our freedom of speech.
Knowledge protects, and ignorance endangers, and the dangers of ignorance must be confronted and illuminated by knowledge. Knowledge belongs to the people, and its free dissemination amongst an informed and empowered population terrifies pathological Government. This is what the Government hopes to prevent; this is what we must prevent the Government from achieving if we are to have a hope!
To combat ‘misinformation and disinformation,’ the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) will be given extraordinary new powers1 to compel Big Tech companies to quash anything that conflicts with the Official Narrative: basically, the truth. Truth is not our purview, it would seem. Outlandish penalties ranging between $2.75-to-$6.8 million dollars will be issued for violations of the proposed “code of practice.” This has not yet come to pass, but it is projected to be ratified by year’s end.
The REAL “misinformation and disinformation” threat is Government sanctioned (“Safe and Effective,” Net Zero Carbon, Climate Crisis etc). Indeed, all truly harmful ‘misinformation and disinformation’ is disseminated by captured Legacy Media in subservience to our captured Government. They both work in unison to slavishly advance the agendas imposed by a Transnational Corporatocracy that holds both these official apparatuses utterly captive. Our Government, and our media, is their Government and their media; and it will only govern and report according to the “narrative” that is required to advance their ruthless business objectives and prerogatives. It cares only for our ‘freedom of speech,’ insofar as it presents an impediment to their globalist agendas.
The implications and intent of the proposed ‘Communications Legislation Amendment (Combatting Misinformation and Disinformation) Bill 2023:
The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) would be armed with the ability to require digital platforms to keep certain records about matters regarding misinformation and disinformation and turn them over when requested.
Communications Minister Michelle Rowland said this would "essentially mean that the regulator is able to look under the hood of what the platforms are doing and what measures they are taking to ensure compliance".
The ACMA would also be able to request the industry to develop a "code of practice" covering measures to combat misinformation.
Violating the code could result in penalties up to $2.75 million dollars or 2 per cent of global turnover — whichever is greater.
And lastly, the ACMA would be empowered to create and enforce its own industry standard.
Penalties for breaching the standards could see companies paying up to $6.8 million or 5 per cent of their global turnover.2
Now, Communications Minister, Michelle Rowland, would like to glibly reassure Australians that “the Government has no intention of stifling freedom of speech.” Obviously, this is the fundamental intent of such legislation, its sole purpose — so, it is truthfully only being put forward as a weapon TO stifle ‘freedom of speech.’
A newly liberated Twitter is foremost in their sights, but other platforms such as Facebook, Google (restricting searches), and undoubtedly Telegram (perhaps even Substack) must be uniformly suppressed, or access restricted at the server-level by the internet provider. News aggregators and even podcasts would also be subject to the regulator’s new powers.
Indeed, Albanese and his backers must be ropeable, not in the ideal noose-sense, but, rather, utterly indignant at the laughable collapse of their ‘Yes’ Voice campaign. The failure is markedly catastrophic for our marble-mouthed Prime Minister, for it is now irretrievable, and politically embarrassing. Support was never meant to cascade into the ‘No,’ and the public perception of ‘a majority of strong and unwavering support’ was necessary to ‘get this done,’ and to right “past injustices,” and to virtuously address “systemic racism.”
Official Narrative control was necessary to rig the result in their favour. The success of The Voice was only possible by creating the false legitimacy of referenda to cunningly rig the result.
However, before a referendum date had even been announced, social media had informed the masses. They would vote ‘No.’ They lost control of the narrative as it was first meticulously examined, and then torn asunder in the bloodied-arena of social media. Truth burned-away the deliberate shroud of official obfuscation to expose the true agenda behind The Voice. It was revealed for what it ultimately was: a Trojan gift. Legacy Media could not maintain the lie of “majority support,” which belies that the actual support for such a destructive Voice was always marginal, and never likely to achieve genuine success.
It had failed, before it had even truly started.
While also being racist and divisive, The Voice was a device to implement the foreign UN Agenda 2030 (and the UNDRIP: Voice, Treaty, Truth). These intersecting Globalist agendas sort to surreptitiously strip private land rights, farmlands and assets; and to ultimately upheave and radically alter the “Australian way of life” to the detriment of all Australians, Indigenous included.
The majority of the public were informed, and KNEW.
As our Federal Government irreversibly rots, it propagates its blight to sustain and spread the rot. The ‘Communications Legislation Amendment (Combatting Misinformation and Disinformation) Bill 2023’ is a prime example of power in decay. This proposed law is indicative of existential desperation. Our Government has lost its once presumed control of “official information;” it is no longer the trusted “informer of reality.” It is the chief deformer of society, and no longer a democratic representation of the Australian constituent. The once dependable control it asserted across sleeping suburbia via limited print media, and flickering television screens, has drastically waned. The time of systemic deception is ending.
The internet, and especially various social media platforms, have provided a vast and unfiltered means to directly access information. Discerning minds can apply their own filter. We are self-determining and free-thinking adults, after all. Cyberspace is both an unruly badland, and a vibrant frontier for diversified information. Truth can be found for those that seek.
The free-flow of information, debate, public discourse (and the online platforms that support it) and individual discernment, are all essential to the health of any democratic society. Lies and truth commingle, much like liars and truth-tellers co-inhabit society, either swindling or edifying those influenced by their orbit. The individual human mind will gravitate to what it requires for growth, and Truth has its own undeniable gravity, and gravitational pull. We must take personal responsibility for de-tangling truth from lies, as this captured Government will only tangle the truth in lies. Together, collectively, we learn from our mistakes, as we constantly refine what it means to be morally conscious, integrated and human. Intuitively, we know the Truth when it is found, and we all aspire to seek it — it must always be available to be found, and found it will be.
This backlash against the online spread of information was all foreseeable, but it is not inevitable. Public submissions on the draft,3 alongside a coordinated activist campaign, and general discussion across all platforms, will undermine, and thwart this brazen attempt at curtailing free speech.
We as humans are better than this, but these subhuman Pathocrats know no other way.
This new legislation is “the Government” lashing-out and exposing its serpentine underbelly for the vulnerability it presents between the scales — the piercing by Truth.
Truth dismantled their Voice Campaign.
Truth prematurely terminated their Biosecurity Vaccine Economy that would have required years of an endlessly updated Vaccine Passport.
Truth will expose the fraud of Net Zero and their bogus “Climate Crisis,” and Truth will neutralise all the inhuman horrors they hope to unleash in the name of Sustainability.
Indeed, Truth hurts, and Truth certainly hurts and hinders such untruthful agendas that have been spring-coiled with nefarious outcomes.
Together, WE will overcome the lumbering machinations of this Orwellian Beast — it will fall, and it will fall hard.
